The Ivy Norwich Brasserie set to open…

The Ivy Collection is pleased to announce that reservation lines are now open for The Ivy Norwich Brasserie, opening on Tuesday, 21 August.

To celebrate the announcement, The Ivy Norwich Brasserie team enjoyed a toast with the Lord Mayor of Norwich, Cllr Martin Schmierer and the Sheriff of Norwich, Ros Brown outside the restaurant. Team members including General Manager, Katie Miller and Head Chef, Andrius Buinickas, were joined by waiting staff to celebrate in the heart of the city.

Situated on London Street, The Ivy Norwich Brasserie will offer an elegant dining destination in the heart of Norwich’s bustling city centre. Open seven days a week and featuring extensive all-day menus and a beautiful bar, the brasserie will offer sophisticated yet relaxed all-day dining for locals and visitors alike. The brasserie will accommodate for up to 149 guests across the main restaurant, bar and terrace, and will hold back a number of tables each day for walk-ins, allowing locals to drop-in at any time of day.

The Ivy Norwich Brasserie will offer accessible, modern British classics for breakfast, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. Menus will include signature dishes such as The Ivy Collection shepherd’s pie, a truffle chicken sandwich and grilled fish, as well as light and healthy brunch options, delicious afternoon teas and an extensive drinks menu.

Guests will be able to enjoy a selection of drinks crafted in the local area including Bure Gold and Wherry Amber Ale, brewed by Woodforde’s in Woodbastwick, both of which boast fresh and zesty notes including grapefruit, passionfruit and orange. The brasserie’s extensive cocktail list will feature drinks inspired by the local area, including an Iceni Martini and Felbrigg Gardens with Norfolk’s Boadicea Gin.

The Ivy Norwich Brasserie will feature eye-catching yet refined interiors designed by the acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, with the brasserie’s signature green colour palette sitting against striking leather banquettes, polished marble floors and bronzed antiques.

The kitchen will be overseen by Executive Chef, Sean Burbidge, whilst Katie Miller will oversee the brasserie as General Manager. Sean has worked in a variety of busy kitchens, with previous positions ranging from Chef de Partie at an array of luxury hotels. His experience secured him the position of Sous Chef at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay before heading to France to open Gordon Ramsay au Trianon at the Trianon Palace in Versailles. On his return to London, Sean was appointed at Head Chef of Petrus, Knightsbridge, before securing his role as Executive Chef at The Ivy Collection. Katie Miller has over 15 years’ experience within the hospitality sector, ten of which have been in General Manager roles for an array of renowned hotels and restaurants across the country.
