“With upbeat music pumping we walked into a small, private circuit room, ready for action. As we took a mat each we waited in anticipation for instructions. The warm up consisted of some gentle skipping, it was surprising how an old school past time could build such a glow on our faces, and it certainly limbered us up. 

After this warm up, Liam explained we would be participating in an ‘accumulator’ session. This meant that we started with one exercise which we would repeat for 30 seconds, followed by a 30 second rest in-between.

After each rest we would then repeat the first exercise followed by the addition of a new one. This happened until we got to the sixth exercise, and when we reached from one to six we then removed the first one off and so on.

As we were performing short, sharp intervals of exercises, the time simply seemed to disappear. Liam’s sessions can be kept to 45 minutes due to the intensity of the work out and if done on a regular basis you will get the results you want.
