Eat Out To Help Out at arc shopping centre

This month customers can enjoy a meal at arc shopping centre for less with the launch of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme.

The initiative means those eating out on the dedicated days can get 50% discount off, up to £10 per head, at participating restaurants and cafes.  The initiative runs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout August.

Shake off your lockdown blues and pop over to arc shopping centre for a treat. Below are the restaurants and cafés at arc that have signed up to the scheme so far:

  • Wagamama
  • Nando’s
  • Costa
  • Muffin Break

You don’t need to download, or print off vouchers, the deduction will automatically be made to your bill, during your visit. The discount will be applied to food and drink when dining in, but not alcohol, and diners can claim as many times as they like during August.

The scheme has been designed to encourage people to visit restaurants and cafes, helping  generate business for the hospitality industry, which has struggled during the coronavirus lockdown, with many places forced to close completely for several months.   As a result, the discount can be used by people enjoying eat-in meals and won’t be available for takeaways.

Steve Bunce, Centre Manager said: “The initiative aims to give hospitality businesses a boost, as well as giving diners confidence to go out for a meal in the ‘new normal’ as lockdown is eased. Our restaurants and cafes have put in a number of measures

to ensure that diners are safe whilst enjoying a dine-in meal. What better way to get back to enjoying Wagamama’s bowls, Nando’s peri-peri, Costa’s coffee or Muffin Break’s namesake cakes by visiting the arc over the next few weeks and taking advantage of this great”
