Discover the treasure of the Andean mountains

El Tesoro de las Montañas is inviting wine lovers to discover the treasure of the Andean mountains with the launch of its fresh and vibrant Chilean Chardonnay, the latest vegan-friendly addition to its unique range of South American wines.

Hailing from Chile’s renowned wine region, the Central Valley, where the cool, clear water from the Andes flows into the vineyards below, this delicious Chardonnay is made using only the finest, hand-selected grapes, offering high quality for unbeatable value.

Suitable for vegans, it’s a vibrant white wine with citrus notes, tropical fruit flavours and creamy undertones. It is also an ideal option for every dining experience – from decadent dinner parties to barbecues and picnics – pairing perfectly with seafood or chicken, fresh salads, and creamy risottos.

Liz Cobbold, Marketing Director at El Tesoro de las Montañas commented: “With increased at home drinking as a result of Covid-19 lockdown measures, Chilean white wine is in demand[1]. Moreover, with research revealing soaring interest among shoppers for recognisable and trustworthy South American wines, we’re delighted to introduce the new Chilean Chardonnay from El Tesoro de las Montañas.

“Literally translated, El Tesoro de las Montañas means “the treasure of the mountains” and we believe this outstanding Chardonnay truly showcases what this great wine growing nation can produce.”

Available in a 75cl bottle, the El Tesoro de las Montañas Chardonnay from Chile will be available initially from Co-op, online and in store across the UK from 12th October 2020, with an RRP of £6.99.
