Paddy & Scott’s Launch New Cafes in Suffolk

Artisan coffee company, Paddy & Scott’s has launched two High Street Cafes in Suffolk following the success of their 55 branded Cafes within Business and Industry Head Offices such as Barclays, Heinz, HP (Norwich) and Fat Face and their In-store 60 seater Café within B & Q’s new store in Poole.

The two cafes are based in Suffolk; one in Paddy & Scott’s hometown of Framlingham and the second in Bury St. Edmunds heralding what will hope to become a familiar high street presence throughout East Anglia.

Director and Co-founder Paddy Bishopp commented ‘Our ambition is to become the No.1 Coffee brand with East Anglia and to have 20-30 of our coffee shops throughout the region over the next three years. Our next sites have already been identified in Hadleigh and Norwich and potentially Kings Lynn and Lowestoft for 2015 openings.’

The cafes will offer the high quality coffee that Paddy & Scott’s are renowned for, plus a high quality food range such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cakes and what is becoming known as their famous sausage roll. All their sandwiches and salads include a local food hero from East Anglia and they are named on the product, for example Blythburgh Free Range Ham, bacon and sausages, Stokes Sauces from Rendlesham or smoked salmon from Artisan Smoke House near Felixstowe.

There is also a selection of cold drinks including their own Frappes and smoothies and Todd’s Suffolk Apple Juice addy also comments, ‘The staff are the key to our success and they were recruited locally for their positive attitude and personality. They have been through a rigorous training session so can all make great coffee but also understand speed of service, hygiene and the importance of the customer. We want to be known for fantastic customer service as much as we are known for our smooth slow roasted coffee.

The difference between us and the national chains will be the whole customer experience – the coffee and food, the environment and the way they’re treated.”
