Whether you want to party at pubs and clubs or enjoy an evening of watching comedy and playing roulette, there are a variety of nightlife hotspots throughout the UK that will provide you with a night out you will not forget in a hurry. Brighton

Funky, arty, vibrant Brighton is the gay capital of the UK, the home to the mods of Quadrophenia, and the setting for Graham Greene’s Brighton Rock. The seaside city is also one of the best places in Britain for a night out. Brighton is packed full of pubs, clubs, restaurants, theatres, and live music venues. So, whatever kind of entertainment you are looking for, you are sure to find it in the trendy East Sussex city.

If you are a lover of cocktails, check out GungHo bar, where you will find a variety of tasty cocktails made from lesser-used fruit and veg. A glass of Sea Vegetables and Rhubarb comes highly recommended. If you prefer wine, L’Atelier du Vin is the place to go. Tucked away on York Place, this bar boasts the largest wine list in the city. With a 1920s prohibition theme, this is a place to kick back and enjoy. You will also find a host of bubbly pubs and veggie restaurants in Brighton’s lanes. And after you have enjoyed some food and drink, you can explore some of the best clubs in the country. The best clubs for DJ sets are The Mesmerist, The Green Door Store, and Coalition. If live music is more your thing, check out the Concorde 2 venue. Brighton is also home to several casinos. If you have enjoyed the thrill of playing slot games and table games at a UK online casino, you will love playing games in real-life at Brighton’s seafront casino Rendezvous. As well as providing a plethora of great games, Rendezvous offers a variety of other all-round entertainment in an intimate and friendly atmosphere.

Cardiff

Whether you are looking for bars, clubs, restaurants, theatre, or live music, you will not be disappointed with Cardiff’s nightlife hotspots. You will find the liveliest clubs and pubs around St. Mary’s Street and the best restaurants are clustered together in the Castle Quarter. If you are looking for gay bars and clubs, head to Charles Street.

For live music, check out the Buffalo Bar. It is fast becoming an institution in Cardiff. DJs and bands perform regularly, and if the music is not to your taste, you can still have a good time in the venue’s beer garden. Another great bar is The Alchemist, which is famous for its molecular cocktails that fizz, smoke, change colour, and even change taste. If you want to dance the night away, you will find various fab clubs in the city. If you grew up in the ‘90s, or even if you didn’t, you will love the Britpop vibe of Retro. But Oceana is arguably the best nightclub in Cardiff. The super-club is the city’s ultimate party venue, and you can choose from seven themed rooms, including the Ice Room and the Parisian Boudoir.

Glasgow

Glasgow nightlife is best known for its exhilarating live music scene. But with an abundance of traditional pubs, cocktail bars, comedy venues, theatres, and nightclubs, you are sure to find entertainment that suits your taste easily.

Glaswegians are well-known for their sharp sense of humour, so check out the newest and most-established stand-up comedians on the scene at the Rotunda Comedy Club. The venue also contains four restaurants, and you can sip cocktails into the wee small hours. Theatre lovers can enjoy performances at many historic and beautiful theatres like King’s Theatre, The Pavilion, and the recently refurbished Theatre Royal. When it comes to bars, you will find glamorous hotspots, trendy haunts and plenty of traditional pubs off the beaten track. With watering holes that specialize in drinks like artisan gins, you will be spoilt for choice when deciding where to drink on your night out. The Finnieston, Bar Soba, and The Spanish Butcher come particularly recommended. Late night clubs are also in abundance in Glasgow’s centre. The best is Sub Club, which holds the title for the longest-running weekly underground club night in the world.
