August Bank Holiday weekend hosts a fun-filled and free family event in the Our Bury St Edmunds Food & Drink Festival.
Meet TV chef Jack Stein, the middle son of Rick Stein, who is Executive Chef of the Stein restaurants, pub and cookery school.
Paul Rankin, one of the longest standing and most successful chefs on ‘Ready Steady Cook’ will take to the stage in the Stoves Cookery Theatre on Monday.
A total of over 120 different food and drink stalls will be found all around the town centre and The Traverse will be turned into a picnic area to allow visitors to sample the produce on offer.
More than 30 local producers, many of whom will be familiar to shoppers in the town from the regular farmers’ market that started earlier this year, will be joining the festival’s farmers’ market on Angel Hill.
As well as foodie treats find the ever-popular urban beach at the arc plus animals at the family-favourite mini-farm in Abbeygate Street.
Admission to the event is free and it runs from Sunday 27 to Monday 28 August, opening at 10am each day.
