Suffolk cinema-goers can look forward to a screening under the stars at a new location this summer, as Sotterley Estate opens its doors for the first time for Bohemian Rhapsody, on Saturday 10 August.
Gates will open at 7pm for picnics in the park, accompanied by live music, with the film commencing at 9pm as darkness falls.
Tickets are now on sale via Sotterley’s website at www.sotterleyestate.co.uk with a special early bird ticket offering a 20% saving on the general admission price.
The location offers panoramic beauty, with the film set against the tranquil backdrop of Sotterley lake, stunning Sotterley Hall behind the audience and St Margaret’s Church and beautiful open parkland on either side.
“We are very excited to be hosting this pop-up cinema screening. People will be able to relax in the park with a picnic, grab a drink from the bar and enjoy live music,” says Anna Barne of Sotterley Estate.
A bar and street food sellers will provide refreshments.
A limited number of VIP tickets are available, offering the chance to relax in a deckchair with a glass of Prosecco and a box of popcorn, plus fast-access to the bar.
