Vanilla Hair Design, based in Churchgate Street, hosted a Charity Hair and Fashion Show with help from Palmers Fashion Store in aid of St Nicholas Hospice Care on September 9th at the Theatre Royal.
The show began with Palmers displaying some of their top clothing ranges. Models sported designs from brands such as Yest, Masai, Gerry Weber, Taifun, Jackpot, Joules, J Vert, Oui Moments, J.S.Heritage, FWM, Frank Lyman, Weird Fish and Adini. St John’s Street store Sunrise were also showing off some of their street wear styles.
Models, who were all volunteers, danced their way down the catwalk with a variety of props from hairdryers to suitcases and umbrellas in what proved to be a fun and original show.
Viewers of the show were even helpfully provided with a show performance order listing all of the clothes featured so that we could mark which pieces we liked… I have my eye on several!
After a brief interval we were treated to some creative hair looks from both students and stylists at Vanilla who highlighted their skills as their models, who were clients, took charge of the catwalk.
Raffle tickets were also available with some great prizes up for grabs kindly donated by Palmers, Sunrise, Art Deco at Palmers, Vanilla Hair Design and many more.
