In just over a year Bounce Magazine has raised its circulation from 500 to 7,000 copies.
It has been a fantastic year. Time has flown by so quickly. In this industry as soon as you get one edition out, the next one is round the corner and the work begins again.
Over the year Rachel has grown the ‘Bounce family’ of people that regularly contribute to the magazine.
The birthday event involved lots of thanks to these individuals, whilst also providing plenty of entertainment for over 150 other guests.
There was live music from ‘Brother The Wolfe.’ Jay, Tilly and Will played some mellow tunes in the conservatory area, whilst guests circulated and purchased raffle tickets in order to raise money for Suffolk Breakthrough Breast Cancer, a charity that Rachel heavily supports.
An auction was also held on the evening, lead by Richard Lawson (manager of the Elveden Inn,) which boosted the charity fund to reach a massive £800.00.
They also had entertainment from Ben Young of ‘Mystic Dragons’ performing some magical tricks, and Balloon Art from ‘Misterfied.’
All of the guests left with packed goody bags genourously donated by local businesses.
Rachel would like to say a big thank you to Richard and his team at the Elveden Inn and all of the businesses that attended and helped support the auction, raffle and evening.
When not working on the magazine, Rachel still runs her marketing and design agency, Apparition.
“I have my fingers in a lot of pies so any time I do get to have off, I try to do something really simple,” said Rachel.
Bounce’s success looks set to continue, developing a number of new ideas to maintain its growing reputation. Watch this space…
